It was part of the original DS design, they were at the end of the roofline, so I guess he shortened them in respect of the original idea ;)

don't be jealous but I get to drive one often for work. awesome in so many ways (if you don't include the fact that the pay is shit, hours are crazy and the boss is a jackass)
stop at the red light, some dude in a tuned Cayenne looks down on you. discretely lift the lever near your left ankle to the max. now you're on the same level and the dude wonders what happened...
